Comings and Goings

The comings and goings in our household make me dizzy. 'Him' and 'Her Indoors' are backwards and forwards with work. 'Her Indoors' is usually pretty consistent, but even she has the odd trip. 'Junior Her' is at university, so she has long spells at home followed by interludes in London. 'Junior Him' has been back since graduating in the summer, commuting up to London and keeping all sorts of anti-social hours. Now he's packed his bags and moved into rented accommodtion closer to work, house-sharing with three females - I ask you. It's enough to disconcert any dog. Still, it's now back to just me and 'Him' and 'Her'. I'm lounging on my blanket on the sofa in front of the wood burner, which has got to be good. And, as a dog of some life experience, if I'm not wrong, the event that closest follows my birthday, is that strange festival with the malevolent twiggy raindeer and the indoor tree, when everyone comes home and eats too much. Great. Can't wait. Bring it on!
