I had a puncture. I'm not one to complain or make a fuss but it was rather painful. One minute I was walking along, minding my own business, and the next I had a searing pain in my paw and had to grind to a halt. 'Her Indoors' was pretty good - she's had this kind of crisis before. I was briskly up-ended and my paws examined. She quickly found the offending item: a large thorn, and swiftly removed it. After that I was back to regular. I was very grateful but it was a bit undignified. I found myself, upside down in her lap, by the side of a busy main road. I'm glad Midge the farm dog didn't see me. It would have given him a laugh.
